Worked in various offices of Maharashtra State Electricity Board (MSEB). Voluntarily retired from MSEB in 2000.

Heading the Substation Engineering Department of Jyoti Structures Ltd., Mumbai.
During tenure in MSEB, active involvement in evolving of 400 kV Transmission sytem and Development of HVDC system in Maharashtra.
Involvement in Engineering of SCADA and EMS for Load Dispatch Centers of Maharashtra.
During 1991-1997 – Corresponding member of ‘CIGRE’ working group 14.04 (Performance of D.C.Systems).
Member of CBIP committee set up for ‘Harmonics in power systems’.
Worked as external examiner for Post Graduate examinations of MumbaiUniversity.
Guest faculty at Training centre ESCI, Hyderabad, YASHADA, Pune.
Visited Germany, Canada, Austria, Sweden, Australia, Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, Cambodia and China for various professional assignments.
